The AD Systems Administrators shall monitor Tier II network operations and performance using System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and other software applications. The Administrator shall be the Help Desk point of contact (POC) for all theater Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet)and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and CENTRIXSenterprise system issues, create and/or manage trouble tickets, and monitor status and report outages(matrix support to South West Asia Cyber Center (USARCC-SWA) Operations) reports to the Section Lead.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
- Provides administrative and operational Active Directory support for the SouthwestAsia Cyber Center (USARCC-SWA).
- Provides real-time data used in the development of a theater-level Network Common Relevant Operational Picture (NETCROP) and provide USARCC-SWAwith regional operations capability.
- ManagesIP-related services of their Area of Responsibility (AOR) except for those enterprise level devices directly controlled by NETCOM/9th ASC.
- Provides “Tier II level” POCandproblem resolution services for all AOR base camps and provides all information related to reliability and availability of all resources managed within the AOR.
- Maintains a Windows Server 2008/2012 ActiveDirectory environment.
- Conducts WindowsServer and ActiveDirectory implementation and coordination necessary for implementation actions with NETCOM/9th ASC and other entities, as needed (i.e., Joint Services).
- Performs necessary hands-on maintenance of Active Directory assets.
- Ensures non-critical member servers provided by the installation meet the minimum server requirements to join the enterprise.
- Provides troubleshooting support for critical core Active Directory servers in support of the USARCC-SWA Operations and Maintenance(O&M) responsibilities.
- Performs necessary hands-on maintenance of Active Directory assets.
- Manages user accounts within their AOR installation, region based on the Active Directory policies and administrative capabilities.
- Maintains the approved configuration of core Active Directory equipment on the installation or region as tasked by USARCC-SWA, related to the initialization or termination of operations and to the establishment or maintenance of configuration.
- Create and manage Domain Local Groups
- Populates and manages top-level Operational Units (OU) provided as part of the installation resources and delegation authority for subordinate level OUs.
- Validates all configuration change requestsfrom local organizations.
- Maintains installation of member servers and applications.
- Identify and apply security measures necessary to prevent unauthorized individuals any physical access to enterprise resources located within the AOR.
- Detect, report, and mitigate physical security compromises of any system according to established guidance, policy, and regulations.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Candidate must be able to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
- The work environment will be 95% indoor and 5% outdoor. The outdoor work environment may exceed temperatures 100º F. Candidate must be able to physically withstand extreme heat.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirements: Associates Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
Experience: At least three (3) years of practical experience working with Windows Server 2008 or higher, operating systems (OS) and Active Directory tools.
Certifications: This position requires candidates to adhere to DoD 8570.01-M. All candidates are required to maintain at least one (1) baseline certification and one (1) computing environment (CE) certification. The authorized certifications for this job title are listed as follows:
